Default 5x100 to 5x114.5....Possible??

I have a buddy who wants to sell me his rims but his pattern is 5x114.5.

I know that the IS300 has that bolt pattern so would i be able to switch out my hub???

Not only that if i had a 5x114.5 i would have a better chose of wheels.

Thanks for your help!

5x100 to 5x114.3 adapters Then all you have to do is find out if your offset will still work.

yup, notice 5x114.3 not 114.5. Nice selection of wheels in that bolt pattern

I answered it in post #2. You'll need the adapters I linked to, and a wheel with a big offset, somewhere in the high 50 or low 60s. So yes, it can be done. But it won't be easy, or cheap.

Better to just stick to 5x100, IMO.

I called the tire company when a person with an Acura wanted to buy my rims. They said no one makes adapters anymore for they caused way to many problems. They didn't recommend it. Good thought though.
