Default Axis Gravity 18x9 40 Offset!!!!

Quick Photoshop....

I'm going to sell my 19's and I was thinking about getting these, I want to go W I D E......does anyone have them yet.....if so post pics...........

18x9 40 offset with a streched 245/35/18 or a 255/35/18

In the pic I'm on S-Techs but I have TRD's on the way...
I think it will rub on dips....
What's your opinion on rubbing and looks???

9 inch wheel is pretty wide, you will surely have problems if you are on stechs, i also think the offset is still a little too much and you may rub on large dips/bumps

As the TRD springs continue to settle, you may have issues on big dips. a 9 inch wheel with a 40 offset MAY stick out past the fender and therefore rub

I currently have an 8 inch wide wheel with a 35mm offset on a Hotchkis drop, and even on small dips and bumps she will rub in the back.

Prepare to be rubbing big time !! Can't even corner fast or you will be rubbing a lot !!
get some stiffer suspension like Tein basic or just leave it at stock suspension.
I have 18x8 with 35 offset on TRD struts + springs combo, it was rubbing like hell on bumps, dips, cornering was scary due to the rubbing sound. Got the problem fix with Tein SSP with EDFC. Refuse shipment on your TRD spring if you can

Well......I've had S-Techs Since 2005......right now my main concern is comfort with the TRD's..........so I guess my dream wheels are out of the picture for right now........

If you are concern with comfort ride, stick with stock suspension or if you have money to blow, go with Tein SSP with EDFC, that way you have lowered stance and set on soft mode to get ride comfort + instant dampening control if you want some spirited driving.

Well, I'm definitely not gonna roll 4X4 on my stock springs, and everyone says that the TRD is the smoothest drop, the Tein SSP Pillow with EDFC are nice but they are not in my budget right now..........

well worst case scenrio, you can always roll your fenders.
TRDs are ok but too soft at the back where rubbing happen the most.

i think i will have rubbing issues with this setup but i kinda want that streached drift look on the wheels, and i want the rims to be flush with the fenders.......it looks dope

the tork wheels are slick, i looked at those before...i think on s-techs and 18 x 8 225/40/18 all the way around will be fine with 35 offset
