so what if i get myself a set of 18x8, or 18x7.5 with lets say a 40 or 35 offset and i had trd springs(thats what i want to do when i have money! =)) will i have any rubbing issues? if so any ideas? cause i like these rims too and i have an rs2 but i'm not sure on size and offset cause i want to lower my car also. oh and whats the widest rim someone should have without any rubbing issues?

Fredycakes,
I am on trd suspension and run 18 x7.5 with 38 offset. Everything is great. The only rubbing I am noticing is in the front drivers wheel well I believe it is simply the plastic fender. I need to remove the wheel and look up in there to see if I can remedy the problem.
Anyway, you should be fine with 18 x 7.5 35-40 offset.

LivNLo94 Im near Albuquerque
Ace83, ya those are TRD's lol in the rear wheel pics you can see my white springs lol. No I don't have a soundsystem in my car at all, and I don't ever rub, I made sure I wanted TRD's and the right set of wheels so I wouldnt rub, cause rubbing sucks lol.

no! i would stick with 225 tire, imo thats the safest,
18x9 et4o maybe, as far away from the hub i can get is the safest for me, but keeping it a lil or lined up with the fender line is best

Well, it's official. I just finished installing TRD Suspension on the car, so now I'm definetly considering these wheels......I'll get pics up soon after the settle, and I'll keep you informed on the wheels!!!
