^^ 100% agreed!!
Sidenote: I'm really glad that I got the yokos on my tC stock, they really seem to be alot better, I can't complain about them for a stock tire. Of course the $ is ridiculous, but anybody who would repurchase stock tires deserves to get ripped off!

I've heard those are decent tires, but the problem is that they are summer tires, not all-season. Down in TX, it doesn't matter, but most places in the country, we need all-season tires.

Yeah the BF KDW 2 ROCK in the rain. I havent had any better tire in the rain. They are definately not just for dry conditions. Again, I am not sure how they are in the snow because, well, I am in TX...

In the next month, before the snow starts falling.. I'm picking up these tires:
http://www.dunloptires.com/dunlop/di...ea=Performance
Dunlop SP Sport 5000 Performance All-Season.
These tires were recently tested by Consumer Reports, and were rated Best in Test.

I am usually a very strong advocate for consumer reports, but I think they may have dropped the ball on this one. Take a look at tireracks reviews for dunlops:

hmmm
I don't know who's right or wrong here quite honestly, but the dunlops are quite unimpressive at tirerack... (not trying to disuade you one way or another, just wanted you to have all the facts)

Ok. I'm getting wheels that are 18x8.5 35mm offset. Will the Avon Tech M550 AS Fit these?? I heard good reviews on the Falken RT-615's too. Will these tires fit my wheel?
So i'm a new guy to wheels and tires but i'm assuming the offset of my wheels should be the same number as the tires, right? (ex: 225/35WR1

18x8.5 35 offset will rub no matter what the tire... can't get something with a larger offset?
225/40R18's will fit ok if you want to chance it, though. The Avon Tech M550's come in that size.
