Default Best tires for quiet, smoother ride on stock size??

Thank God I'll be replacing the stock 17's Yoko S32a tires after only 22k miles.

In the new tires, I am looking for a much quieter tire and a smoother ride wouldn't hurt. If they look nice and have a rim protector, that would be a plus. They have to be all seasons, too.

Cool

Kumho Soleus, by far the best tire I've ever had, its a quiet and comfortable ride.

Only downside is the sidewalls isn't as solid as the stock Yoko's, so cornering involves a bit more body roll but its great, cheap and long lasting tire..

tirerack.com

260US for all four.

Best of luck,

Check "Continental ExtremeContact DWS". These would be my next tires. My wife has General Altimax HP (also conti) and they are pretty good. i have Bridgestone Potenza RE960AS Pole Position right now and they are ok. however, at $158/tire they seem like a rip off compared to the conti ones.

I get a pretty good discount on Conti tires so it is a win-win situation for me.

i realize that the link i quoted above will not work for you.

log onto www.tirerack.com ->Products->Tires->Shop by Vehicle ---Select scion tC MY
On the next page click on Survey Results and then on Ultra High Performance All-Season.

Ok, but I don't need ultra high performance. I just drive "spirited". I might check out who's the winner in the high performance catagory.

The reviews weren't very good.

I'm stuck. Really dont know what to go with. Just a good all-around tire. Hmmmm.

not sure what reviews you're looking at, since 1010tires.com already shows it's a 4/5 review rating. not bad at all, and no tire is perfect.

But you buy whatever you want, its YOUR car and only YOU can make that decision, not US so you have fun with that decision.

Nitto NeoGen ZR or Falken 452s. Best bang for your buck, hands down.
