Default Blizzak WS70 vs. X-ice Xi2

i'm looking into putting snow tires on my 05 tC and i can't choose which i should put on. So i need some advice from people who have used these. i need something that will work well in northeast ohio. we can get a lot of snow because of lake effect, but its usually only on the roads for a couple days a month. so then i'm driving on clean dry roads the rest of the time. so i need something that has good tread wear and isnt too noisy. but also i need good traction for when it does snow.
thanks

My wife has the Blizzak WS70 and it's ok. Not that impressed with it in all honesty. I was more impressed with the Michelin Winter Snow tire or the Dunlop Winter Sport
