Default Brakes Squeaking - New Brakepads, Silicon on the Metal Parts

So I have replaced the brake pads, and put the "Brake Quieter" on the metal part on the outside of the pads, but its STILL SQUEAKING!!

It's driving me crazy. Has anyone else had this problem?

That brake quieter compound worked for me. What kind of pads/rotors are you using?

The two things that i'd suggest are the following:

1) Make sure you followed the bed-in procedure (very important)
2) Make sure your rotors don't need to be resurfaced (if they do, then do it)

Hopefully that'll help. This is of course assuming that everything was installed properly, but the brakes are so easy, i'm sure you did it fine.

also try and get new brake hardware. IE: the metal shims that go on the caliper braket. if those wear out then there will be excess movement.
also how many miles on the rotors... have they ever been resurfaced before?
if not and they have alot of miles on them and become under spec, then they need to be raplaced.
also any grooves in the rotor will cause noise until the pads fully seat in the grooves.

also make shure that the sliders are not stuck/frozen.

also cleanliness is a big factor in brake noise. if your hands are dirty while doing the brakes you should wash them often or invest in some gloves
