Default BUTT NUGGETS COPIED MY WHEELS... HOW ANNOYING.

Saw this ebay add for a set of drag wheels that fit the tc. Direct copy of my 5zigen 5zr's. I hate when companies do that, At least I have the real deal!

tC owners on recent threads have been talking about Drag as if theyre good wheels. lol

I'd rather roll on stock wheels anyday than a set of Drags.

I have R-1 Racing sports, they are fake Volk wheels, this is all I can afford at the time, so for me it came down to money, not out of preferance, plus i only paid $500 bucks for it, a deal I could not pass on.

copied wheels are okay if people know theyre copies. people with copies feel ashamed when someone with the legit wheels roll up. lol

Unlike other knock-off brands, Rota make copies of wheels that have long been out of production, although most of their copied designs are still being produced by the original manufacturer. Old skool JDM wheels like Watanabes, GAB Sports, Mugen RNR, SSR Type X, and Sprint Harts are super hard to find, so people go with the Rota copies.

It depends on the person. Some people don't care about replicas/real wheels, they just wanted a larger sized rim at a cheap price.

I have to agree here... I'm going to be getting the R-1 Racing GTR10 wheels, only because I can't see spending $2000 on a set of Volks... do you know how ____ed I would be if I scratched them or accidentally curbed one? The R-1's are good quality, and don't weigh much more than stock wheels, so I can't complain... they are better than ADR Sokudo's at least.

I would be embarrased to roll on a set of knockoffs. Besides what kind of quality will you get for $500

I do not understand wanting a knock off. But then again I do not understand a car that is built to look fast but is not either. Ah well. As the world turns haha.

To be honest with you all, I did not know much about wheels when I got these, I know better now.

It's all good man, round things roll which is why we have wheels on our cars. Heck I can afford allot of things but real volks are out of my price range as well haha!

Couldn't we then say that the 5zigens are just economy knock-offs of the Boze Hi-Octane? $1800-2000 for the set of four...

So you're saying you see no similarity between the Boze wheel, and the one the original poster linked to?

yeah sorry, only thing I see close is that it is a 5 spoke. That is like saying a tc looks just like a new civic si because they both have a steep slanted windsheilds...
