It's pretty easy actually.
1) You pay a company to transport it over
2) take the car to a certified Ministry of Transportation center and get your vehicle certified
3) pay the UK required Yearly Road Tax on the vehicle.
MOT and Road Tax are mandatory for all vehicles here, without it you can't legally drive. If you're caught without either or, it's a huge fine and possibly jail time.
Oh, and yes, I'm active duty military.
