Default Chipped wheels

The paint on my wheels is starting to chip. Can someone help me figure out why this is happening and what i should do about it. I was thinking about getting them repainted. My cameras not working but ill post pictures as soon as i can.

usually driving over gravel or next to big rigs on the highway is what causes paint chips.

Do you use a powerwasher/pressurized water hose to clean your rims? No, no

Do you use a scrub/hard brush to clean your rims? No, no

Uhh, same goes for any strong detergent/soap/shampoo not formulated for rims use. No, no

Most, if not all, rims require the same paintcare treatment as on our car's bodypaint (i.e. occassional waxing/detailing).

Well the only recourse is to either repaint the whole rim, or just the damaged sections only. Although the former would be ideal, imo (not to mention more expensive ). Anyhow, post some pics when you get the chance.

That would only make sense if he had previously painted the wheels (something other than factory) and I don't believe he has. Look at his profile
