i have a 2008 tC and I was wondering what kind of rims people have put onto the tC with the tire pressure sensor system with the transmitters in each rim because I'm not too sure if they will fit on the rims i am looking to buy (Work Emotion xd9 18x8 with 35mm offset) Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks for your time.

i think alot of rims will say something like they are "tpms ready"

but i think the tpms sensor is pretty much just the valve stem isn't it?

they switch right over from your stock alloys. if you get different ones, the system will not work unless you buy a brand new one

As long as Work Emotion xd9s will hold the tps transmitter thing I'm good. Thanks for the help ^^

i'm sorry i'm lost.... i'm looking on buying new rims for my 08 tc. can i take the sensor off the stock ones and put them on the new one or will that not work

wow i forgot about the sensor on the 08s this will delay my new rims even longer until i can get this figured out now.

talked to a guy on the e90post forum about the tpms stuff and he said that for 1piece cast rims the tpms would fit on it. if you get a 2pc or 3pc forged the tpms will have to be attached by a strap on kit or something. The work emotion xd9 is a one piece forged rim so the tpms sensors will fit on it no problem. Hope that helps.
