to the original poster,
looks nice, because of the lip IMO 19" doesnt look too big.

however I dont think I would spend that much on rims, thats a lot of money for mesh rims

what makes it different from someone just powder coating/painting their mesh rims gold and saving money

here we go again:

i didn't pay that much some people around know how much i paid and have justified everything. the reason they're different is because they're true three piece wheels, that doesn't happen with wheels that you buy for cheap and then paint them gold. real car / wheel enthusists will see that and respect that

If you gave up on him, why are you still trolling in this thread?

And yes, it was a joke. I always give him a hard time about this thread and how people always comment on the cost, even though they don't know the cost.

God, not this again. He was sponsored so he can't say how much he paid as per sponsorship agreements. I will say he got a helluva deal on them though. And those rims that you listed are not close to what Ben got. Ben's rims are true 3 piece rims, CUSTOM made for his car after he gave the company several measurements, is running the widest tires (that I know of) on a non-widebody privately owned Scion in the US.

my bad.. didnt feel like reading through over 15 pages of others' opinions. and i know that they are 3 piece forged custom fitted to his tc. im just saying that i would trust manufacturers such as volks or BBS much more due to the fact that they have been tested in countless races and are proven to be superior wheels. and besides... the BBS RS-GTs... real 3 piece too, the BBS RGRs are the 1 piece versions of the RS-GTs.
so what do you mean by not close to what he got? as in price? performance? or simply rarity?
also, with high-end wheel manufacturers such as BBS, DPE, HRE, IForged, Jline, Kinesis, etc etc... you always have the option of special ordering wheels with his desired measurements.
dont get me wrong though "Ben," im not saying i dont like your rims.. they look dope as ____. how much do they weigh? or has that been answered already too?
