These rims will look amazing on the car. Why not pay a few grand on rims, if they look good on the car and they are completely custom, one-off rims. I would be willing to bet that if Ben pulled into a show and you were there and you saw his rims, you would be blown away (even though you will probably write back still saying "they look dumb" or some stuff like that). If I had the money, I would easily drop that kind of money into my car. My car may only be a 18,000 dollar car, but I treat it like a million bucks. Who cares if he would have paid $5,000 for the rims, it isn't your money. If it makes him happy, all the better.

Why do you people have to hate on people? Does it make you feel better about your car? State you opinion and move on. By you acting like you know what is going on, it isn't going to make Ben return his rims or do anything like that. They will still go on the car and will look amazing. It will just be that much better when he does get these rims to fit and and is stealing trophies from you at shows.

The internet makes everyone an expert. I wish people would talk on the boards like they would talk to a person's face.

no one, or atleast very few people, arent saying the wheels are bad looking. They look great but nothing special and the price is pretty outrageous but since you say you didnt pay msrp i cant hate. Either way they should look good but it seems kinda retarded to put rims on your ride that are worth 30% of your cars value. How you spend your money is your deal and i congrats on the purchase

As for spending money on a $16k car, why not? Some of you say that he should have just bought a more expensive car. What's the point of that? So he could spend even more money on mods? Expensive cars are expensive to mod. Isn't part of the appeal of Scions (to those on this site) the fact that they are inexpensive which in turn leaves you more money to spend making it your own?
