The wheels he had previously were mass produced, but push them out of the range of most simply due to price.

The current set has a relatively high price tag also, but has a custom ordered offset so it's not readily available stateside (who knows how many were imported though). But I think it's more inline w/ the offset (and the stress of getting the correct suspension on time, ROFL) to acheive that look.

maybe they're 18x9.5 et38. Work made a small batch in 5x100 with that spec for 2004 WRX STIs (the only STI that came 5x100, later ones are 5x114.3). There were group buys on this size on NASIOC.com.

i'm currently on month 3 for my works. i have another 3 weeks to go though. i'll be sitting at 117 days (that they're supposed to be on my step) from the date they were ordered

i believe the new lexus-IS come stretched....no? of course not as much as that nor in that thread but somewhat stretched.

i doubt it. stretching is unsafe the more aggressively its done. car manufacturers dont want the liability on their hands so they'll change the offset and width to ensure clearance. i know alot of tire shops (usually ones that dont deal with motorsports) that wont touch stretch mounted tires out of liability fears.
