I don't know if anyone would be able to get much closer than that. Usually wheel copies have to be about 15% different to avoid patent lawsuits (if the origional has a patent).

DR20
Dr26
DR9

These are the favorites?

I dig it. Nice work. They might actually be able to do this using the same technique they used for the colored lips.

I like the candy coats also, but I agree with nebster. It's hard to find a good cheap wheel WITHOUT the fake bolts and I hate that fact.

For every one person who wants the showy "Hey look at my chrome bolts!" theres at LEAST another one person who wants the sleek, clean look on the wheels.

I had Drag DR19's and loved them but the fake bolts killed the clean look.

Drag makes decent looking very affordable wheels for people not wanting to spend $400/per just to buy a brand name. I just wish they quit making them look so "affordable" if you catch my drift. The fake bolts fool no one really and it just hurts to see them on an otherwise nice wheel.

Also bronze with the black lip probably won't sell much TBH. Dark lips don't really go very well because they make the wheel look even smaller so on a 17 that will kill the look.

I suggest taking off the fake bolts on these wheels and the holes in between the lug holes? (3rd pic) Don't like those either and they also kill the clean look. (Not sure if those are needed as far as copywriting goes but I dislike them) and also the Drag centercaps are very plain and stick out as far as cheap looking goes. Look at Volk wheel centercaps. those are hotness. Dark for the most part, with some silver and grays etc. Red sticks out and clashes, try using more neutral colors for centercaps.

I think thats about all. As far as ideas for a new wheel..

I love the Volk TE37's & Enkei RPF1's. You basically can't go wrong replicating a sick wheel, people will buy them. Keep the finishes clean, no fake bolts.

Hope maybe I could've helped sway some votes at Drag, haha.

PS I'll take freebies whenever possible. Give me some wheel designs to evaluate.

lol, I'm not too proud to take freebie wheels. They can even have them back and send me a new design every month or so. :D

Any chance they'd do centers in those finishes? I'd like something along the lines of the DR-25 or DR-17 with a silver polished lip, but a blue center, like the lip finish shown in pic #2.

BTW, do you happen to know what the weight of either above is in a 17x7? I really wish you guys published weights for all the wheels on your site.

I'm sure that could be done as well.

Weights are coming...... slowly....... but they are coming to our website. The 17" DR25 weighs about 19 lbs and the 17" DR17s are about 17lbs according to Drag.
