fenderliner question
hey guys,
i just put on my new wheels. 18x7.5 - 35, 225-40-18.
im lowered on tein s-techs and on the stock 17"s i had no rubbing issues at all.
with the new wheels the front two seem to be rubbing on big dips. turning is fine.
i took the car to my buddys place yesterday, jacked it up to see if i should roll the fenders but the rubbing wasn't coming from that... it was actually from the fenderliner. I could see marks on both the front left and front right fenderliner which was at the exact same spot.
i asked my friend what we should do since that fenderliner is plastic... we almost decided to dremel the part of the fenderliner that was causing the rubbing but then thought about the sharp edges it would leave on the plastic.
so we decided to go ahead and let the tires rub away the fender liner naturally.
any recommendations on how to deal with that stupid fenderliner?
(i don't want to completely remove it)
