so which lugs do you guys think is better security wise? i know that if any thief that really wants your wheels, he will find a way to getting them..
but which would be a good deterrent to help him just move along

my homeboy had 5 different lugs on his wheels at one point, each required a different socket haha. I use to to be running 4 standard conical lugs and 1 spline lug which required a key on each wheel. I think the best thing to do is get an alarm, the keys for the lugs might be easy to get ahold of.

Rays lugs are pretty good for locks.

oh and sengtc3 a spline drive lug is either a 14mm socket or a 17mm socket, dont let the crazy "splines" fool you, its not a lock. anyone with a 17mm socket can take the average spline lugs off. you should get some real wheel locks (and im not talkin about the ones with special keys either, fyi Rays locks use a 7 sided lock with a special slit cut into it. a regular socket wont fit on it, and each lock is numbered, so if someones going to steal them they need the correct number lock. much more difficult to come across

Thanks for that man. Yeah I'm looking into some rays extended right now. Just trying to find a site with the cheapest price. Lowest I seen was like $100 or $120 I forgot.

for that price (assuming new) i would make sure they are real Rays lugs, idk if there are any fakes out there but you'll never know.

btw, i just want to clarify i didnt make that up about the spine drive lugs, i used to work at a tire shop and now i work for toyota and when customers have those lugs and dont have their keys we use 17mm sockets that go on perfectly lol
