Very few people are willing to take drag racing in the tC to that level, where they could actually need M/T's.

You could call M/T directly and ask --- Phone (330) 928 - 9092 Ext. 2

And my concern would be fitting it on a 6.5-inch wide rim. Most people I've seen are running much, much wider... sticking far out of the front fenders.

Hoosier might be a better way to go, since they make a wider variety of tires and applications.

They can also be reached at:

Hoosier Racing Tire Corp.

Lakeville, IN 46536
Phone: 1-574-784-3152

that was my only concern.. i already looked up M/t's but im also looking for other tires with super grip...

for a nice regular tire with grip theres the toyo proxy Ra1
http://edgeracing.com/tire/1120/

and the typical Falken Azenis Rt615
http://edgeracing.com/tire/1532/

BFGoodrich g-Force T/A Drag Radial
http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....FA+Drag+Radial

i can run also

http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/s...ETStreetRadial

P205/50R15 23X8.00R15
P225/50R15 24X9.00R15

im just trying to see what people have run.. im more into the drag radial or smaller less bulkier tire for the track... if i roll up on large tires/M/T's things of that sort its a tad over kill

I just got the Dunlop Direzza Z1 starspec... but I think you might want something with a softer sidewall. This is also the Azenis RT-615's problem. I remember drag racers saying that it's "good", but not "great" for drag applications.

Autocross tires are about the limit of my experience... but, if I were to pick the autocross tire that I think would be best for drag-- Hoosier A6 (or R6 cousin might be softer sidewall, not sure)

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....r&tireModel=A6

And it's a guarantee they'll fit the 6.5 wide rim. They have 205 and 225.... But you definitely don't want to drive this on the road... 40 treadwear, and zero wet traction.

------

But if you're looking to drive this tire to work everyday, then anything in tirerack's "extreme" category would suit you, or of course, the azenis..

Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 (upcoming new tire, best)
Dunlop Starspecs (best)
Bridgestone Potenza RE-01R (best, = to dunlops)
Yokohoma Advan AD07 (Very good)
Kumho Ecsta MX (very good)
BFG - KD (Very good)

I'd pick any of these over anything in the one-step-lower "max" category, though you can find good tires there too.

The Potenzas and dunlop are more "road-course".... but I think the Yoko's and BFG are softer-sided and would be better for pure drag.

Can't believe I forgot about the Kumho V710.

This might be one of your top choices--

Here's a big list of the competition radials offered by tire rack... BFG has a few drags I'd check out.
