So.. my tires are BALD... AGAIN! this is my second set of tires getting bald in 15k miles

so a need to get a new set

i had falken 452's and 512's

i want good wet and dry traction and long lasting tires

Azenis ST115

( maybe the new 912's?)

Ecsta SPT

g-force Sport

all of them is around $100 each...

FUZION ZRi??????????????? anyone? ( im reading the tests on tirerack.com and this tire is always in the top 3 compared to other big brands.. it outperforms many good tires)

i have Kumho Ecsta SPT's and love them, very quite ride. however with 15k miles, you might want to get something checked out on your car because it doesnt sound right.

um yeah... i'm gonna go w/ none of those... check out the Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3. totally smoothed, super quiet, grips like theres no tommorow..... you won't have any problems with those... well as long as ur not a deuche and dont get ur alignment atleast checked out. or if you decided to take a right turn at 60... never a good idea.

Fuzion Zri is a good hi-performance all-season. My cop bro-in-law swears by them on his Lexus SC. I mention cop because well... he drives like one. Fast, all the time. If they came in 245/40-17, I would have bought a set.

1) looks good but its too expensive for me... i could buy 6 tires of ecsta spt for the price of 4 goodyear.

2) i did the alignment.. everything was in spec.

I vote for either the Kuhmo's or the BFGoodrich G-force sports (I have the BFGs on my car right now and love them, but the SPTs ive heard are good ( I used to have the ASXs on my ride)

kumho asx is all season tire.. i need summer tire.. so

spt or bfgs sport or falken st 115

i dont know if it really matters bu the falken has the highest treadwear grade which is 360

bfg has 340 and ecsta spt has 320

so it means the falken would last the longest?

The treadwear ratings are only useful when you are comparing different tires within the same tire company. If its for different companies, it may not hold true. (ex: you could have two that are 340 but if its different companies one could wear much faster)

No. Treadwear ratings cannot be compared from one manufacture to the next. The treadwear rating is only for a company to compare their own tires.

IE, a General tire with a treadwear rating of 250 could potentially outlast a Nitto tire at 600.

Also, wtf do you 'need' summer tires for?
