Helppp, new 18's with h-techs
Alright so i just bought enkei rs7's with 18 in tires and i installed them yesterday, my 07 Tc is dropped on h-techs so its pretty low so ive been driving around and sometimes when i would make a hard turn or went over a bump i would hear a noise from my back tires, i checked the lugs and they werent really tight so i tightened them and the noise kinda stopped for a little . was this the problem or is it becuase my car is too low

there 35 and i know alot of people with my setup thats why im thinking hopefully it was because the lugs werent tight enough, and then my tire pressure light went on and i went to the gas station and put air on the ones that needed air but the light remains on, anyone know why?

I have 18's on stechs and have no noise from the front or rear. If the noise stopped after you tightened your lugs then I would assume that was your problem. I know why your light is on as well...

the light is on because of the TPMS not being in the new wheels....im assuming
if so....that light is gonna stay on.
youre either gonna have to remove it from the cluster....or tape it over

The tire pressure light is on because you got rims from an '05 that does not have the air pressure sending unit on the valve stem inside the tire. Your car is probably an ;06 or above. The '05 tc's didnt use a sending unit, it was based on monitoring rotation, if one tire is spinning faster because it's diameter is smaller (i.e. flat tire) it triggers the light.
'06+ used a sending unit to monitor the pressure. That sending unit is internal and attached to the valve stem. Your new '05 RS1 rims dont have the sending unit so your car thinks you have a flat tire because it isnt receiving a signal.

its the tire pressure monitoring system..
basically when there is low pressure in the tires...the light turns on
im guessing the reason its on is because the ECU thinks there no pressure in the tires at all
you can buy replacements but there like 100 a pop!

yea my car is an 07 but wait how would it matter what year the other car was , the rims are universal and the tires were new so how would that trigger it, and is that bad then
