that looks good.. maybe if it was on coilovers and a tad lower with a better sidewall tire it would look even better.. but its str8..

i say do it.. just make sure you get a thick tire... but i dont think it looks bad at all...

can you post more pics??? or maybe specs are the current tire size

LOOKS AWESOME!!! (I can't wait for my friend to book the plane ticket for his vacation to the Philippines. I'll have him get me some fat but light 16"s at my expense though!)

What are the rim and tire width/specs? Also, what springs do you have on?

(I may need to add the TRD or Tokico struts and Hotchkis sway bars along when I get my choice of springs. (probably TRD, S-Techs, or the hardest Tanabes.)

I really wanted Grams light, but the last time I asked some local chinese whosesalers there is about a year ago, they said that those are Japan made (5-stars) and cost 2-4X the price of the lightest Taiwan made, BUT SOLD EVERYWHERE Volk Racings which is around $100-160 each depending on size...

I was wondering, did anyone of you get NON Japan made Grams Light??? (If there are, I might get the non Japan Grams.)

Oh, and is it hard to find "MINT" condition 16" GT-S rims? - I like to install those in my 03 Corolla.

tires: 205/55/16

springs: H-techs
..... if i go s-techs ill be scraping all over the place......( because of the lip) but if you aren't plannin on adding a lip i think s-techs would really look better....

How's the handling with the 205s, does it bother you on hard cornering? (could the GT-S fit 215s though?)

handling is good but not great due to the side wall size. and plus these aren't performance tires... im planning on putting on 225's if it will fit... i think it will but im no expert....

It's not a 7 inch but a 6.5, so I'm not sure if another half an inch from the 205 could make the 215s fit... (I hope they do.)

16's with a 225/45/16 on the front, and a 215/50/16 on the rear. helps with understeer on the FWD. 16's are great for all sorts of reasons; less weight, less rotational mass. even the ams evo (900+ HP) steps down to 16" for the track (on slicks)
