Well you get what you pay for... so they're likely cheap/generic wheels. And I've never even heard of "Triangle" tires and would avoid them like the plague if you're thinking of the wheel/tire combo set from them. The wheels really don't "look" too bad, but I wouldn't be buying them.

How about give some ideas of what you're looking for and what your budget is... I'm sure people could help you find a decent set. Like what kind of look you going for? How much do you want to spend? Need to have tires too? What size wheels?

Thanks for the advice. I gotta replace all 4 tires and I'm riding on the spare in rear right. So you know I though if i'm gonna get all new tires, I might as well get nice looking rims or even something different to match the dark cherry color better. Honestly I don't know if its possible but Im hopping for 18" in black or dark color, together with new tires for $1000 or less. Is that a possibility or should I just change to new tires on stock rims. (will cost be about $600). TNX

Well like I mentioned, those tires on the set you were looking at are probably some Chinese crap. There are affordable tires out there that aren't garbage too. You could easily get decent tires mounted and balanced under $500. But if that's what you really need, what kind of tire would you be looking for? Probably an All-Season tire since you're in NY? Or do you run separate snow tires for winter?

Wheels are still an option, but don't cheap out on wheels just because you find a good opportunity. Get the wheels you really want when you can afford them.

Check on Discount Tire's website, I think you can do it for about that much.
Maybe something like a Momo V-10 wheel 18x7.5 for $135 each;
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...7.5&vid=012503
Along with a set of decent all-weather 225/40/18, such as;
Falken Ziex 512 for $95 each
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=225
OR
Kumho Ecsta AST for $98 each
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=225

That'd be very close to $1,000 after tax. They've got lots of 18" wheels for the tC at less than $150 each, but those Momos are probably the best quality they have for that price range. I'm sure you can find something decent that you like within your budget.

^ Glad I could assist!

From everything I've seen people here on SL post about those tires, it appears the Kumhos may be a bit better than the Falkens, at least worth the $3 difference, but I think you'd be satisfied with either one.
