Default I have an issue

Well not really me but my cousin's boyfriend was rocking some flik wheels, and i guess from what i was told and saw , was that he was coming home and the face of the wheel popped off the rim.... is this a normal occurrence.
Any input would be great!

no, it is not normal for wheels to come apart. now is it a common occurrence for flik wheels, don't know, but generally wheels should not fall apart on a car like that. the rule of thumb with cars and with lots of things is "you get what you paid for". i don't know about flik rims, either he got a bad one, or they are crap, or if they are a good brand, maybe he bought a knock-off or something. not really that into wheels.

now, you call them your "cousin boyfriend" is it common to date within your family? LMAO or i presume you meant cousin's boyfriend right?

lol obviously this isn't normal. No one here can really help you with this problem. Have your cousin boyfriend call "flik" about his issue and see if the company stands by the product they sold.

you guys are ripping him/her apart just answer the question..

snack: no it is not common for this to happen. either the wheel was poorly constructed or he did something to have caused this to happen.

ive owned a set of flik wheels before and they were fine for me for half a year with no issues..i traded them away for some oem 18's though

i was quoting when i said it, i dunno, get online and fine the companies corporate number if they have one and see what they say, a rim falling apart without a pothole being involved is not normal, and take the other rims off the car and put stocks back on till you figure out whats going wrong, dont want a rims faulting going 70

I had flik wheels on my old car and the held up fine. I didnt have them long cause i traded the car in shortly after getting them stupid mistake to buy wheels but oh well. But by face of the wheel do you mean the spokes? so thee was only the round part there? I mean that would be odd with the lug nuts there?

yeah sorry i was at work and yes my cousin's boyfriend sorry i was in a hurry, i was over there this morning and the whole barrel of the wheel looks like it cleanly popped off like it wasn't attached but the spokes were attached to the axle. Sorry about all the spelling errors i was running late and didn't feel like checking it all before i left. I was just asking because that is what i was told.

It looks more like the second one, i was told he was coming up a hill and it broke, so now he is riding on stocks with snow tires.

FLIK wheels are very cheap. IMO Rota is slightly better and that's saying something. FLIK wheels are so bad that most places don't even sell them anymore and only EBAY has them.
