I am stuck between a rock and a hardplace right now. I want to get some 18 inch wheels, but I do not want to lower my tC. The roads around here are less than bearable so I want to keep my ride height stock. Anyway, I want some classy looking rims, nothing flashy. I like wide wheels, so how wide can I go (18 inch diameter rim) without rubbing on stock ride height? I was looking around and most of the people who complain about rubbing have lowered tCs, so I assume my rims could be fairly wide without rubbing, is this correct? Also, if you have any ideas for nice looking rims, please speak up as I am new to the rim and tire scene. Below is a pic of my tC with some Unknowns. And I can honestly say that it looks like crap. Thanks to everyone who replies and thanks for putting up with another "What rim looks good on my car" thread.

-Matt

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping that other would chime in too, but the thread only has 80 views.

you did say you wanted nothing too flashy, so that eliminates color-matched wheels. and for bcp, i don't know what color would look best out of standard gloss black and alloy.

...can't go wrong with piaa super rossa, though.

I am originally from your area and I was through there 2 weeks ago and will be back through wed. I am dropped on TRD's and its not bad at all. PA roads suck, but alittle drop will make it much better and not compromise with the roads.

Yeah, I just don't want to buy springs and then have to buy $500+ worth of shocks a few months down the road. But, I think rims will be next on my list.

Im lowered on Tein H-Techs and have had them on since a week or two after i got my tC, and still no signs of wear. Just don't go for such a dramatic drop, and you may be able to save a little wear on your susp components. Also, I have had no problems with speedbumps or driveways.

i would look into alloy, gunmetal or actually gold MAY look good... if you could photoshop that it would be fun to play with... but i think a alloy or gunmetal may be your best bet

Cool thanks for the idea. I'm a "noob" when it comes to rims, so I want to know what will look good before I drop a lot of money on some new shoes.

A better photoshop would probably help, but it doesn't look too bad. Now all I need is 4 grand for the BBS wheels and some tires .

Hey. Sweet ride. I have a 06 BCP too and I'm having a real hard time deciding on rims. I'd normally be the first to say that gold/bronze rims are gaudy and flashy, but somehow on the BCP they just manage to look right. I'm thinking about getting these myself:
