I just got some new wheels that I ordered online that came mounted and blanced. Now, I drive a 07 so my stock wheels have the four TPM sensors on them. Will my new wheels need to be rebalanced by having the sensors trasferred, or is it just a simple deflate, insert sensors, and reinflate?

 

they shouldn't need to be rebalanced but if you sense any vibration you need to have them balanced asap

 

Wehn the guys at the shop did mine they just let the air out the stocks......undid the stem.........and then put in a rubber stem and reinflated.....thenthey put the sensor stem inthe new rims......so you should be able to do it.......just don't break them........check online as to how they come off first......

 

Cool, thanks guys. I might just have them done at the dealer to avoid any damage to the sensors, I guess they're pretty expensive to replace.
