I am upgrading my 17" stock wheels on my 2007 FM TC to 18's. Should i keep the factory lug nuts, or upgrade to better ones, what recommendations can you give me

 

aftermarket 18's or the factory 18's???

you will not be able to use your stock lugs with aftermarket wheels...

 

sorry i fogot to mention i am upgrading to the SCION EMX Super 7 18 inch. Alloy Wheels

 

then you can use your stock lugs

 

any custom wheels you want to put at least wheel locks on but stock scion rims you will be fine . keep em factory

 

prolly wanna make sure you got wheel locks too

 

I would say Rays Dura Nuts, but they wont work with the stock wheels. They are different from the stock lugs.

 

I just picked up a new tC and bought the following wheel locks from McGard. My stock lugs have that washer thing on them. When I put the locks on this wheel the conical part goes down into the opening on the rim. I see the Scion brand wheelocks look similar to the OEM lugs. Am I good with these? This part#24157 shows up everywhere as compatible with the 07 tC but I am scared with the way it seems to not kinda fit right.
