Default 17x7 Tenzo DC-6 wheels 205/40 or 215/45 tires?

17x7's should be a 215/45 however when looking on wheelfire they are saying it needs a 205/40. What's the deal with that? Not diggin it. Just wanna make sure a 215/45 is what belongs on there. What would make them want to put a 205/40 on it? Our stockies are 17x7 and we ride 215/45 so why would we change that for the Tenzo's? It's the wheel I'm getting, that's why I'm asking. Thanks guys.

You know the sticky threads up top of this sub-forum? You can post your questions there. You made two threads about the same wheel, not necessary.

Here's a link to the two threads

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...=7335&page=183

https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...142934&page=27

Maybe you haven't searched hard enough, here's a link to a pic of Tenzo's in black, might not be 17s, as the pics posted have been down, the posts I've seen are from far back as '07.

Regarding the tire sizing if you're staying with stock 17x7 fitment, go with the same 215/45 17.

Just stick with the 215/45..no reason to go with a smaller tire than stock on the same size wheel.

Thank you. Much appreciated. But anyways, I cannot find straight black (And I don't mean machine lip) 17's. My S-techs have me tuckin so I know any rim I put on there is gonna look good, especially black, but I still would like to see it. The DC-6's are pretty sweet, and like I said, I bet they'll look good, but I'd rather know ahead of time. It's right on the border of being enough spoke and not enough spoke. I think a 7 spoke might look a tad better, but not just any 7 spoke. a 7 spoke that is bascially the DC-6's. And yeah, they don't make that. the closest thing i like other than these were the xxr 527. much more spoke, looks good. however, i'm not dealin with the width, i wanna stay tucked. There are many straight black 7 spokes, like enkei's and things like that, but they are too flat or this or that, just not feeling them. so i finally found my rim and now i cant find some one with them!! no what i'm saying man?

Haha, nice. Could you possibly shoot over a picture into this thread, or my one above it. That'd be appreciated. But yeah, I'm not feeling the 18's. I love 17's on the tC, makes it look way better, in my opinion anyways, not that any of your guy's 18's do not look good, I'm just saying for me and the look I'm going for. Thanks TeeCizzle
