So here is my input.... I have 15mm all around and i got 18x7.5 (et45) wheels and actually the rear is more flush than the front ! :? So if anything i would need a 20mm on the front...
and the tires are 225/40 and i was rubbing like HELL!!! i had to get my fenders rolled and still cut the bumper in the back so i would say whatever you go with ( 15mm or 25mm) get 215/40 or 45 tires!!! do not get 235

I've read through this thread and the sticky but I'm unsure of what size spacers I need to be flush or near flush without sticking out. I'll be putting my 17x8 RPF-1's +45 offset back on. I need to order one replacement wheel.

From a few pages back someone mentioned 20mm front and 25mm rear for a +48 offset. Is that about right? Also ebay brand is fine vs Ichiba V2's?

Final question I was thinking 235/40/17 tires. Is this a good choice for this setup or should I look into a smaller size? I only have a moderate drop with the Eibach Pro-Kit, it's about as much as a TRD drop. I'll probably be picking up a Stoptech Stage 2 kit around the same time and just install everything at once.

Any help is much appreciated.

Why do you want to be more flush in the front... That makes no sense

^if u get a 20mm throw it in the rear and the 15 up fronts also shifty's ride Just has a moderate drop so he shouldn't have problems, as for tires I say go either with 225/35/17 or 225/45/17 to have less of a gap

Where should I go for 8mm spacers? I'd like to avoid replacing my studs and my wheels don't have the space to accommodate the bolt-on style. I found these, are they okay? Is non hub-centric really that bad?

One of the most informative spacer threads ive seen yet. Keep in mind the numbers are specific to the Z chassis so you will need to do your own research on the tCs numbers (hub bore size, etc) but there is alot of good general info in the thread.

Thanks. Of course those 8mm spacers are out of stock and I can't find any more. I really wish I could find someone on here who's running this exact setup. The closet I've found is 18x9.5, +38

Does it matter if the thread pitch is different? I saw those but wasn't sure.

well if you have lugs that you were already using without the spacers you will need to buy spacers with the same thread pitch as OEM if you want to continue using those lugs, but that would really only apply to bolt on spacers that come with studs.

If you read the fine print, neither of those auctions come with studs

I thought with 8mm I could get ones that slip over my stock lugs, or are extended lugs easy to install? I just don't want to deal with this: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/tc-tech-diy-1818/wheel-spacer-install-ichiba-79955/

Ive heard anywhere between 5mm and 10mm slip on's are "safe" to run on stock studs. You just need to make sure your lugs are tq'd to spec. Also depends on application because diff. cars have diff length OEM studs. Its really up to you and what you feel comfortable with.

Your other option would be replacing the OEM studs with extended ones (like the link you posted) since you are unable to run bolt on spacers with the wheels design you have.

Installing studs doesn't look any easier: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...ace+wheel+stud

Do you think these ebay spacers are okay? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/KICS-...Q5fAccessories

Some people say to avoid them and some seem to think they're okay. I'm about to order them because I don't really see any other option that doesn't involve a lot of work.

Personally i dont like that design. With that many bolt patterns and holes it just seems weak. Also i dont like how the holes are like oval shaped.

Both of the ones i posted are basically the same as the one you posted. Same size, just a better design imo.

Yes I prefer those too, I'm just worried about the thread pitch issue. It shouldn't even really matter since they're just holes the theads fit through, right? The diameter is the same (1.5).

The thread pitch would only apply to the auction if the product comes with new studs, which doesnt apply to any of those.

Check this one out.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ichib...Q5fAccessories

Comes with studs so you can just put the studs on the spacers and bolt them on, personally i wouldnt run more than a 5mm slip on

I'll just get the 8mm - I've seen other people use them on stock studs. I don't want to replace mine.

On second glance, will the hub-centric ring fit without issue?

I feel like such an idiot today, thanks for helping.
