Default Metal hub rings

Does anyone know where I can find these? I keep finding plastic ones. I know they come in steel and aluminum but can't seem to find them now? Any suggestions?

They are for an 06 tc with Arceo wheels.

We carry them at $30 shipped. Let me know what your wheel hub bore size is and I'll tell you if I have them in stock.

Well aren't you awesome.

Are they alluminum? Will they fit an Arceo D1 wheel ? 18 x 7.5?

You're much, much, much better off with plastic. The aluminum ones really enjoy fusing themselves to the rotors, and having to be removed with a hammer and cold chisel. The plastic ones just pop off.

I've been using the same set for 3+ years, on two sets of rims.

they shatter. had them on a set of wheels i had a long time ago and yup, took my wheels off one day to put my winter wheels on and the hub rings crumbled. i called up Rishie at AutoRND and got metal ones (aluminum i think) just put some antiseize on them and they wont seize to the wheels or rotors

Well, not to sound like grouchy old guy, but I had plastic hubcentrics in the TSW wheels I bought when davedave was... seven. So when he says "a long time ago", season that statement with as much salt as you deem necessary.

I would go with the plastic. metal on metal is not good if your and an area where its snows and there is salt on the road. .

but if you do go with the metal ones make sure you put some grease on both sides of the ring so they do not fuse to the wheels or hub.

If the Arceo D1 wheel has a hub bore of 73.1 then yeah they will fit with the size you gave me. I have one set in stock for 73.1 to 54.1. Also, heed the warning from everyone else who has posted about greasing these guys up.

um ok, that doesnt change the fact that my plastic ones crumbled and the metal ones are fine and even through winter have not gotten "fused" to the brakes or the wheels.

but hey youre older so you must be right.

It's not about being right, it's about having more experience with the items in question; having a metal set fuse to the rotor/hub is far more common than having a plastic set fall apart. I'm just trying to give the OP a bigger picture, rather than a relation of a single incident.

I'm using the original SSR metal rings on my wheels. some of them like to stick to the rotor, while others tend to stick to the wheel. a year ago I wiped on some wd40 and it hasnt stuck since. I think the material of the plastic rings makes the difference. my old volks used polycarbonate rings, which were sturdy. my old Racing Harts used thin/flimsy ABS plastic.

i see maybe i just read your post wrong, i was having a shtty morning (slept through lecture, teacher was being a dck in lab blah blah blah )

i just prefer the metal ones with a little antiseize on it (reapplied and cleaned at each tire rotation) and never had a problem with them
