Need help with some wheel info please
i currently have 19x8.5 wheels with a 35mm offset on my TC, i just saw that my wheels are also now offered in 19x10.5 with a 30mm offset. i was possibly thinking of getting just two wheels and putting the wide ones on the rear. now please don't everyone jump on the "staggered wheels are dumb on a FWD" kick im not interested in hearing your imput. if anyone with any sort of wheel knowledge could let me know if im getting in way over my head with trying to do this. Any help is much appreciated, thank in advance.

that will rub the ____ out of your car...a 35mm is barely enough clearance as is, 30mm with an extra two inches you might as well kiss your fender goodbye. Its really odd that they made less of an offset for a bigger wheel. Usually with a width that large you're looking at 60+mm offset. This really confuses me

Yeah, you're going to need to modify your fenders a bit for your setup if you also plan on lowering it -maybe widebody? To give you an example, I have 19x8 et35 and it sits pretty close to the fenders. I also had to shave my fenders a bit to eliminate the rubbing cause I'm lowered.

i should also state my current set-up to make things a little more clear. I'm lowered all the way down on tein coilovers and my wheels are as stated above 19x8.5 with 35mm offset and a 215/35/19 tire. there seems to be some room in the rear of the car for me to stuff a bigger wheel in there and make it work, just not sure if a 10.5 wide wheel is allowable or not.

i wouldnt try it, once you get the rim you're stuck with a worthless rim or doing some serious fender work... your call though

a 19x10.5 wheel could be used as garage decor also hahaha, but i'd rather it worked

that would be pretty hot to just have it chillen on your wall.
Random Person: "Woooowwww.... Thats cool, where'd you get that???"
You: "Off my car after I had to relocate my quarterpanel to make it fit."

there is a guy with 19x9.5 and he is ok I belive and one guy with 19x10's in the rear with a 265/30/19 i belive on this site he is on TRD springs and they RUB BAD BAD BAD. Buy a Truck if you want truck rims. This is a CAR put rims and tires on it that FIT you dont need to MAKE them fit.

I have 19x8s and know, especially with coilovers that 10.5s wont work without killing your fenders and going widebody... even with a different offset... you are talking 5 mm difference in offset and 50 mm in rim width... it just makes sense. No, No, No.
