Default New Enkeis on the way!

Today I just ordered some Enkei Evo 5s 18" w/225/40/18 Toyo Proxes. I picked the bronze ones b/c I wanted my tC to be different. They should be comming by Friday. I've been waiting 13 months for rims.

Good rims...not my color style on a CSM tC. But as long as you like them that's all that matters.

As soon as I get em I'm putting them on, and will be taking pics. If anyones wondering they were $1200 through a scion dealer. That's shipped, mounted, and balanced.

From angles like that the tread size (40) don't look to bad but from the side it looks kinda think!

yea I am going to do the same thing after my 40 wear out I am going to try 35 as well I am lowered on TRD struts with Tein H-tech and and i use to be lower to ground on stock 17s with 45 tire so with 18s i think i need to take it down to 35 to get that look i want might make the ride little stiffer but should not be to bad.

So I call the dealer on Fri. and ask if my rims had come in yet. Well my luck being crappy as always he tells me there were only three(wheels) in the U.S. in that size and color, and it would be 6-8 days before they would get another. Then it would be another 3-4 days for them to ship. . So they should be here about one day after I fly out to K.C. for a week. See I told ya Crappy luck!

vvtiTc06 did your rims come with the Enkei valve stems and caps? Yes I'm going to get new lugs. The sales Mgr at the dealership is getting me locks for all the lugs.

Don't think 245's will fit on a 7.5 wide rim. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but if you look on 1010tires.com it shows minimum of 8.0 for the 245's. If anyone has tried and been successful with 245's on 7.5 rim, please post for us.
