new rims & offset issues...
im researching a nice set of aftermarket rims.. right now i have the 18" enkeis with the trd springs.. my rims sort of sink in and id like them to be a little more flush... i was wondering on the offset.. the set of rims i found are 18"x7.5" 5x100 and a +45 offset.. is that too much of an offset..?? if so whats a good size that will work and look nice? can anyone reply with a good offset size? thanks for the replies guys.. oh and whats a good tire size to fit those rims?

A +45 offset is what the stock 17s roll with. Those will look more sunk than flush. You want an offset of +38 or +35. Those will look more flush. I have 2 sets of rims both in a +35 offset and they look clean IMHO. (Check my "profile" for pics.) You could even add spacers for a more flush look also. Here's some great info on offsets for you...
Wheel Offsets
Just remember; the lower the # the more the rim will be pushed out.
As far as tires go, a 225/40 should be good. With TRD Springs you could also get away with a 235/40. But to be safe, stick with the 225s.
