Default Nitto Neo Gen or Falken ST115?

Hey, well, i'm not a hardcore racer or anythign haven't done autocross but like everyone i really don't like stock tires. I basically want some tires that are just going to rock in the canyons. There is an 8 mile very windy canyon by my house, very narrow turns. I just want something that will stick real nice and feel safe pushin it through here. So my question is, would Neo Gens do the job? Would i feel a definite difference if i was goin thru on ST115's as opposed to the Neo Gens? Thanks!

if i were you i would look into something that will last and has one of the best handling out there. Toyo Proxes 4. Get them from edgeracing.com , right now theya re about 114 per tire. They are better than the Falken ST115, or the Neo Gens..

They have 2 versions the Fz4 which are the older Proxes 4, you need the P4 or Proxes 4. Their treadwear on the old are the reason for the change on the newer plus the newer wet grip design.. Its a great tire that other will tell you will last and one of the best on the road...

are they performance-wise equal with the ST115's? Because after i had sway bars put on, the steering has never felt the same so i want something that's really gonna do a good job. Also, i don't drive too much, only have 6k on my car after 13 months.

Ugh... i've never had a good Nitto tire... Tried the Neo gens and the NT555s, bah, yokohoma from now on for me. But if you're trying to stay relatively cheap then go for the proxie 4s

Well, i'm willing to spend around 500 for some falkens i just want to make sure it's worth it. From what i've researched, i've only heard good things about the ST115. Neo gens and the Proxes 4 have been mixed so i'm not sure. :/

Falken Azenis ST115 hands down. I have first hand experience with these tires. Best i've EVER ridden on. Dead quiet ride, aggressive tread pattern and 360 treadwear, last a long long time!

Yeah, i've only heard great things about these tires which explains their more expensive price. But yeah, i live in southern Cali and it's sunny most of the time here. When it is rainy, i don't plan on doing any agressive driving so i'm basically lookin for tires with good dry performance.

what size? Stock 17's?

I haven't seen any 215/45-17 or 225/45-17 ST115's, but Falken's Ziex ZE-512's are just as good and only $75 a tire here:
