Default Now that I have my new wheels?????

hey everyone,
I got new wheels for my tC about twoo weeks ago and i have four stock wheels and the yokahamas that came on them sitting in my closet collecting dust. should i keep them for some reason or should i sell them. im not using them and could use the money to buy a header. but can someone give me a reason to keep them? any suggestions?

thanks

The only reason I could think of would be for winter wheels if you get different tires for winter. I don't know how bad Iowa is for snow though. But if you run (or will be running) snow tires in the winter, it'll be easier to have them on a different set of wheels.

Otherwise, might as well put them on eBay or PPC here. Could get a couple hundred for them with tires probably.

Hmm... I think you could get a bit more... since they don't have the Potenzas on them. If the wheels are in good shape (no curb rash)... I'd estimate $350-$400 shipped. Depends if you list them here or on eBay. If you list here, I'd maybe start higher and see what kind of offers you get.

You'd have to post in the Private Party Classifieds section.

well they have just than 11,000 mi on them and one has some curb rash. and i think one has a little paint worn on the lug holes from a sloppy impact. that what do you think with all that? ask mabye 275-300 obo and buyer pays shipping/handeling?

My personal opinion is Keep your stock wheels tires on your car. The stock wheels are actually nice.

And I would just swap shoes for shows and other occasions to keep the scuffs and etc that is inevitable to a minimum on your aftermarket wheels.

But eh. thats just what I'd do.

i agree the stock wheels look good but thats what most people have so all the cars look identical. so i decided i wanted wheels for my daily driver so it stood out or at least looked different.
