I've been basing my tires picks on consumer reports - at least i've been trying to. I have seen no reviews of the Avons, but the problem is that tire rack and other personal reviews are all biased b/c the people rating the tire can't compare them to anything else, they just know if they like em. I have been trying to use consumer reports as a guide b/c they really rate the tires and I trust them. The problem, is that they don't rate every tire that i'm looking at, and the toyo proxes 4 and the avon tech m550 really look like awesome tires.

I've used the Falken Ziex ZE-512 tires before on my Si. I am not a fan of them.
