since when did the tuner scene decide to use "wheels" to be the determining factor in making a good or a bad car? I am getting Konig Feathers in a few months because they are 17" rims that weigh 16lbs. and they are $140 shipped...ill take the extra $800 i would save on top shelf rims and put into my turbo kit or something that will MAKE my car.....

sorry for the flame up, i just dont understand people that worry about rims....

im not show...im go....i grew out of looking fast...and im looking to be fast....

my friends that have worked up cars....dont even have anything else besides stock rims....im going to be the only one with aftermarket wheels out of my friends..

its not always about looking the best, its function over form...not form over function IMO

its not the determining factor, BUT they play a HUGE role, it changes the cars personality completely

My friend has a e36, nothing special, but with his BBS LMs, its a different story

well i love wheels and it separates you from the crowd. go run stocks *yawn*

go turbo and ____ but also get some balla ___ rims. thats what i did. just because you can't afford a good brand doesn't mean that you have to bash them.

^---i agree BlizZard, it does change the personality of a car, i just get annoyed with kids running around saying this wheel is better than another wheel, like the wheels is what makes the car..thats all

well....i wont let you know because im not looking to be a guy that puts his car in a mag....i own a tC and i do my own work and im not looking for "sponsors" because i pay for all my own work...and yea i DO my own work too...

so the answer to that post is.....never...because my car is my car...not meant to be put in mags or do shows or anything....have fun at your shows...ill be at the track....where you dont belong

im just confused...i mean why would someone dump so much money into a tC....if your getting custom 1 off wheels wouldnt you put them on a 350Z or something that is more deserving of the high price wheels?

exactly..... nobody does it on a tC, thats why i do it, i don't want to ever go to a show when someone has the same wheels as me so i did this.

konigs are trash... they are poorly designed and really dont hold up well... i know ive had em and now I have seen the light.

This is my opinion... but i have gone through so many freaking wheels it should be considered.

A nice set of rims is worth the money because they exceed any of this pieces of trash in quality and performance.

If you are running your car on a track and want the best wheel... dont run konigs. Run a set of Volks, Works, IForged... anything but the "tuner" junk out. there,
