Default Platinum 'Apex' wheels... any reviews?

Since I've never heard of this brand of rims I was wondering if anyone has heard good/bad about them. I came across these Platinum 'Apex' wheels in black and might purchase them soon, since my dream of buying Konig Afterburners in black are over since they are now discontinued.

I know they aren't the nicest looking wheels, but I really want to stick with a chrome lip, black spokes and chrome center cap for the look I'm going for with my car.

Suggestions welcome.

Well, I got $5k back from taxes sooo.... lol Might still be going the turbo route this summer, even tho it's an auto and probably a waste of $$. lol So I wouldn't want to spend too much on wheels.

I wouldn't want to go over $220ish a wheel I guess since I'd still have to buy tires (probably Hankook Ventus Evo's).

220 x 4 is 880.. you have a lot of choices here. that is enough money to get you a set of quality used wheels if you want.

TC virus i don't suggest boosting the auto just leave it simple and clean. Haven't heard much about the Platni Apex's but the price is ok but then add shipping, tires, and install. If i may check out the XXR 526 they look as good or better than the platinum and won't break the bank.
Google them to see different setups and also if your not already get a lowering kit to minimize the wheel gap and have a clean look. Hope I helped out and have fun choosing your wheels.

PM If you need any further assistance.

The only thing with the 526 is you wont get them. I dont think a single one has shipped yet. I say go with Miro STP-1's. A little pricier... but they're ballin. Or Kyowa Evolves... Or Keskin KT1's cause no one is rocking those on a tc.

KT1's fer tha weeyun! Love love love them things. Honestly...I love any wheel with those lips. Too bad the only ones I could come close to affording would be some damn sportmax's 002's!

Virus, get the best thing you can afford. Dont waste your money on something you are not totally 100% into, cause I guarantee youll regret it later. Just be glad you have the cash to blow on some sweet new rims!
