seriously?? why would they do that i mean it is understadable to a point.. but at the same time.. what they need to do is to start remaking and revamping some of their old school wheels and bring them back to life again... alot of new designs just look the same and are blah..nothing really interesting about it..

i say BRING BACK OLD WHEEL DESIGNS... if volk, advan and lets say designs from other companies like gab, ssr, sprint hart, sparco, bbr, etc etc etc back from the dead.. you would see a hella jump in their sales... they are bringing back old 4 and 6 spoke ssr wheels back... might as well bring back alot more...

something different: C4 Corvette "Sawblades" wheels on 5x100 VW's. Sawblades are 5x120.7, so adapters were used. These would fit a tC if youre into the style.

theyre 17x8.5 and 17x9.5

No, they are SSR wheels, it even said so inside one of the spokes. Speed Start Racing. SSW wheels are from the UK? Right? Notice the "made in japan"?

nope, real SSR. They were discountinued about the same time SSR went out of business 2 years ago. Just before going out of business, SSR slashed prices on these wheels and several sets (mostly 5x114 and 5x120) popped up on Ebay for $400-500 a set.

SSW is a ghetto knock-off. Theyre generic wheels with a SSR style centercap.

Some nice D5Rs.

They go for pretty cheap on places like vwvortex.com don't they?

I spy my Blitz wheels in this picture

I would love a set of the Sprint Hart CP-Rs in the back of this pic or the SSR Supermesh in front of them

Are you talking to me?

Of course BBS makes 5x100, I just have no funds. Next Summer hopefully when I'll be working again I can pick a set up. Not too many tC's w/ BBS's... It's too bad.

My RCs are 5x100, those are going on the tC in spring.

H_T_H, I have a Mk2 Golf "old-school" project for this winter. The RMs are perfect for it so I'm going to leave them as is.
