some one is running a negative offset on a tc i think hes 18 or 17 x 9 his offset is like -1 or something like that. I saw it on WFC... let me find it..

edit: found it "I'm running 17x9.5 et-5 but I planning on going 17x10f n 17x11r. Just depends on how much time and effort you're willing to spend to get the fitment right. But if this is your first time 17x9 et15 with either 205-40r or 215-40r and 205-35f or 215-35f wouldn't be a bad start. I use to run around 18x9et5 but I had camber maxed out all around. -4.5r and 3.2f" this is on WFC.

^The one you're posting about(Samsneez I think) is running a big wheel adapter to get those numbers, if he was to get them redrilled to 5x100 and rebarreled to spec it'd look much better. I'm just not a fan of flared/pulled fenders, which may seem to be in these guys futures.

yea thats what i was reading doesnt make sense i would get them redrilled but i think hes saving to get them redrilled and get them wider. thats what happen to shin he flared up his fender then wanted to make it look as stock as possible thats why in the pic that you posted it shows all that body work on the rear fender.

but for some... they just want to push it and see how wide they can fit.. thats my plan to see how much i can push it.. see how wide and the lowest offset i can pull off...

was expecting a comment like this

anyways, this thread is mostly for hellaflush guys who love camber and don't care about wearing out tires fast

Im not hating on hellaflush or anything, i can appreciate a well stanced car just as much as the next guy. The key word there is well.

Having to run oni camber just so you can say you fit a certain size wheel is just stupid in my opinion.

Even if that one dude was running -5 or -10 or whatever, thats still a long ways from -40

welll actually..
if toe is in check you can run with a good amount of camber for a nice long time, true story
and the quarter panels might be widened to avoid crazy camber.

i'm sure everyone and their mom's cousin's best friend's mailman's dog knows about the "0 toe == no camber wear" thing, and it's true. to a point. correcting toe will help a bit, but
1. correcting toe w/ ridiculous camber like that is gonna take a helluva lot of work/research.
2. you'll still get shorter-than-average tire life.

idk, call me conservative but this seems excessive to me.

*might widen the quarter panels, which means i won't have insane camber, but to a point where hellaflush peepz will like

Have to done any measuring yet to see how much youll have to widen anything?

Im not hating, im all for pushing the envelope and doing diff things but this seems a little obscene.

With the amount youll have to modify the cars body, it will looks completely diff and likely ruin the cars natural flow

Flip one of the wheels and do a test fit before going any farther...IMO your wheels look awesome as they are now.

In response to the videos posted..

I cant quite understand why people like driving around a car that looks like the suspension is broken.

I agree. Don't get it when it's that extreme. There's tasteful and then there's... well that.
