Default Question about this wheel?

Hello all,

I am now shopping for wheels, I dont want anything to big, 17s are fine. I was really just wondering what people thought of these wheels...looks, fitment and brand?

I think they look ~ok~ , similar to stock wheels, but shinier. I don't know anything about the quality of the brand. According to the ebay listing, they should fit our car though.

thanks for the reply, I couldnt find much info about the brand. I have a feeling that this wheel buying process is gonna take a while, Im still trying to understand all the aspects of wheels.

Is there a range of offsets I have to stay with in and does each offset offer a different apperance on the car?

And does Hub Bore matter a whole lot?

Thanks again

They look heavier than stock... OK i guess. Not my style.

17x7.5 +42mm will fit no problem.

MSR is a knock off company.

I have owned 2 sets of thier wheels in the last two years. I had a set that looked like Racing Harts & a set that looked like Axis 7 Mods.

The wheel you are asking about is a knock off of the Axis Spiders.

Their wheels are good quality & hold up if you take care of them. The down side is they make it so their wheels fit a wide range of car makers, mostly Honda is their concern. In turn you get stuck with one offset & one only, no custom offsets with MSR. Spacers may help to get you the look you are after. If the +42 will fit with no problem you may or may not just want to push them out a little more.

FYI That rim is also availible in a 18" if you wanna step it up.

If you do buy them I would mount them & see from there.

I am very familiar with this wheel company so if you have any more question just ask :D

PS : If you check my xB in my profile, that is rolling on the 18" 7 mod knock offs.

they look good, might want to check how much they weigh and what there made of. The size is same as the stock 17" so u wont even have to buy new rubbers. ++

well it has really just come down to these wheels and the Rota D2s in Royal Silver 17"x7.5" from suby-dude.

Ill have to do alittle more homework on the MSR wheels first, I really like the looks of them. I think they would look pretty good on SW!

Thanks again for all the posts

D2's That's what I just sold my MSR's for

I got the gold D2's in a 17 X 8.5

Good luck with your choice, they are both nice wheels IMO.

I was running 215/35/ZR18 Kumho Ecsta Supra's From Tire Rack. The price is very reasonable & it is the best tire I ever owned. I also had these on my 17" wheels I had before the 18's.

I see you are from PA, I didn't realize that before. Hit me on my AIM when you get a chance I may be able to get you a better selection & size from MSR for around the same price or less. I have a connection & may be able to help you out a lil more
