Default Question on rim size

I plan on getting some wheels soon but i dont know what size to get. Its either between a 17x8.5 or 18x8. Is the ride really different with 18s and 17s? Thanks in advance for the help.

BTW Im on S techs.

If you go with the 18x8 size, just be sure to get wheels with a +45 or +40 offset.

You can get away with 18x8 ET 35. Its once you got to 18x8.5 ET 35 that you will get rubbing.

Default I was wondering about OZ Racing wheels

i want the Ultraleggera Black wheels and they only come in 18x8 with 48 offset and i have S Tech springs. Would i have any issuese with rubbing and if not will it look flush?

18x8 +35 with a 225/35 tire and I rub slightly over big bumps or dips. That was on stechs anyways. I have coils now that I need to install so I'll need to roll my fenders more.

You should not rub with that offset, but you will definately not be flush. You would need to use about a 10mm spacer for that.

flush and rubbing go hand in hand, you will either be flush and rub or not be flush and not rub.
