Default Red line around tire/rim

I was thinkin is there anyone out there that makes tires with a thin redline around them. Sorta like the 2007-08 Yamaha R6/R1, I own a r6 and love the red line around the tire. I wanna know cause im going to be getting black rims and want to see definition between the tire and rim. I hate just seeing solid black on black and I dont wanna do a chrome lip.

look this concept scion has what im talking about...

i'm not sure about tires.. but there are plenty of wheels that are offered in "time attack" style. They paint the wheel lips in red. Here's mine before my paint job.

and after paint job

The wheels i have are Raderwerks MTEN-80br http://raderwerks.com/wheels_detail....lkswagen&id=95

Konig has these Heliums in that style:

as well as the Countersteers:

There are plenty more out there.. just too lazy to search right now.

Here are the Tires with the red walls/line.

Nitto NTRD1 Redline

But I have yet to see a picture of an import sporting those... it's usually domestics (but then again they have a long history behind the red walls).

Well they are still fairly new I guess. Nitto doesn't really seem to promote them too well though... it's not even on their page.

Also it's kinda like a specialty tire (for retro muscle cars & such)
And at this point since there is only one size available 255/45-18 it's not surprizing that it's not selling to well.

I think it could do well if they had more sizes and better promotion, but at this point it looks like it's facing extinction. Sometimes I wonder if they even cared in the first place, and why they even bothered if they weren't gonna put any effort into it.

The only advertisment I've seen of them are in import tuner magazines from discounttire & etc.
