it doesnt seem too deep because if it really is a staple from a staple gun, most of it is what youre seeing in the pic. so i dont think its much more than one or two cm

Pull it out then, and see what happens. Worst case scenario is you have a flat tire that would have been un-repairable anyway.

By the way, unless you hit a corner like you were trying to... I can't think of a reason why you would try turning sharp enough to rub that far over into the ground, on stock Potenzas.

If you don't drive EXTREMELY aggressive, i'd almost say someone did that on purpose.

well i think i got it when i was parallel parking in front of my brother's house because i felt my tire go against the curb a little. i know i know i suck at driving, but yeah that could be the only way i could have gotten that there because i dont drive that aggressive. well at least agressive enough to get something to puncture like that while taking a turn

Many people have done worse things with their cars, and they still think they're the ____. Getting curb rash is hardly "I suck"-able.

Did you take it out?

hahah aight so i brought my car to a tire shop and the guy basically yanked out the staple because he could tell it didnt do anything, but the weird thing is that my car only had 20 psi when i got there, so they checked the entire tire and found a nail in the tread deep in there. so i got it patched and everything is good now.
