its like a triple screw thingy, you have the center shock, then a middle sleeve (which is the ring you tighten at the bottom of the coilover) and then the red piece wich bolts on to the suspension.

Shin, he will still be able to tighten the bottom ring, only thing that might change is the bottom ring will be sticking out slightly, the red part should still screw upwards giving him the extra low.
