How are you guys clearing the rear bumper? Even at my drop and at 17x8 +35 the my tire sits about a half inch below the bumper and that first bumper screw (which I removed). I rub on that part of the bumper all day. I have plenty of clearance on the other side of the wheel. I'd like to run 25mm spacers but at that width I'd be literally sitting on the bumper. I'm already at -2.8 degrees in the rear. Is this the part where tire stretch is needed to achieve that width?

Well, I removed the screw and shaved half of the bumper tab off (from the inside out). I'm running without the screw since the bumper snaps into place alone.
I'm running -3.5 degrees camber in the rear. That plus the stretched tire really helps. I still rub occasionally.

Damn. That bumper is killing me. I'm just trying to close up the gap - not even go for poke. This makes me appreciate the aggressive guys that much more... Blah, I guess I need to get in there and start shaving bits away. What did you use to shave the bumper?

Jasper, just a hand-held grinder from Home Depot. It takes a lot of work to make the aggressiveness work.

Ok, I am a little dumb here. I know that if you put a spacer in there, it basically pushes the wheel outwards from under the car. But everyone refers to POKE. What exactly is poke? I always thought it was how far the wheel poked out from wheel well but now I am just getting confused.

^Wheel poke, the car is on air ride, still doesn't change the poke-ness though

Some pics of the bumper mount tab on my rear fender. This is after the fenders had been rolled. Left is pre- and right is post- "customization." Everything was later given a good coat of touchup paint to protect it.

I also tapered the lip/edge of the bumper itself with a dremel tool. Sorry, I don't have a pic of that. I'm still rubbing on some of the black finder liner plastic under that bumper edge - more trimming is in order. I'm running 18x9.5 +38, 255/35 on a drop that is fairly mild for this thread.

CHECK OUT MY THREAD!

it's how much the tire or rim goes past the fender. flush would mean the wheels line up with the fender, etc etc.

examples:
