Would 225/40's be safe on a 9.5" rim for daily driving? I know its stretched but I'm not sure it is a big enough stretch to be concerned with. (Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm new to the aggressive fitment scene)

every tire shop says stretched tires are a hazard, but you should be koo, also if u want to slam i would go with like 215/35/18 or 215/40/18 which im going to run

Well I'm already running 225/40's on my current wheels so I was just going to move those tires to my new wheels. I wonder how much it will rub... Thanks for the info!

yeah im gettin a sedan. the main reason im moving out of the tc, is to get a 4dr and a more luxurious car..

though, the sti/wrx and evo's ARE on my mind. ;)

oh and with the g35, ima slam it on bc coilovers, get either the oem lip kit or the karuma z front bumper, megan racing catback exhaust, and some fat ___ wheels and stretched tires. :D

Just finished, however people have been photographing it like crazy over the last week since the install... honestly handles better than my tein coilovers... just hella more expensive.

Ohh and it should be said these rims are supreme temporary, getting Volk 3 pieces for next years season and going 17x11 in the rears with 17x10.5 or 17x10 in the front on 20 series tires. As well as needing a camber arm so I can just flop them sideways.

Dwalkertc if you stretched a 20 series tire, you would be running on the lips of the rim... literally.

Which Volks are you getting?
You might get away with 10.5" in the rears, but I would definitely recommend staggered offsets.

Either way, drop is looking very good.

I want to buy a used set of GT-U and get the inside powder coated bronze and the outer lip either polished or gunmetal bare with me here, car is getting painted a candy blue with a lot of flake, lot of accessories shaved and pulling the wheel wells so i can fit those wide rims with the camber arms. I also know the 20 series are way too small for daily driving, those rims will be for trailer in and trailer out. The 18s with 40s will be for driving...
