i go to college up in sonoma but my original home is valencia. i can drive down any weekend i want pretty much.

 

Is your tC up here in norcal or just a beater car?

 

Uyles - what's your overall review on those Nankang NS-II tires your running in 215/40 on 9.5? I'm still torn between 215 and 225 :/

 

i daily my tc. i usually drive to Socal every 4-5 weeks, and it's roughly an 800 mile drive round trip. .
i don't raise it, the 5 is pretty nice but the 580 and 101 suck.

Jasper- i've had non-stretched 225's and i honestly can hardly tell a difference between my stretched 215's. hahah. if youre going to need the stretch, get the lower tire size.

 

101 past SB is chill. They repaved almost the whole thing. It's like driving on a cloud now.

 

 

I live right around there and have never seen your tC around but it looks amazing! I want mine to look that good one day.

when i drive from socal to norcal i take the 5 -> 580 -> 101. they repaved that whole section of the 5 but the 580 to the 101 is terrible. i haven't driven on the 101 close to sb very much.
i can make it from sonoma to valencia in roughly 6 hours. the 101 takes like...12. haha. some people do it though, because it's a much prettier drive. 6 extra hours for some scenery doesn't seem worth it, personally.
