yeah, haha. when i was buying new wheels, i was stuck between 18s or 17s. when i called to place an order for the 17s, they were out, so i had no choice but to get the 18s. hahaha.

^You actually did have a choice, wait it out for the 17. Still good look though going with the 18s haha.

fliphm00b = best 17" fitment on a tC. Followed by Sam's tC on the 17" RS'. Just looks right.

naw, well, i got my rims a weekn before hellaflush. cuz i got a flat on my torques the week before. so i was rolling on stockies for a cool min. but i wanted to have new wheels by the time hellaflush came along, so i was in a rush to get new wheels. they said 17s were unavailable till july, so i just got the 18s. im happy with my purchase tho. main reason why i wanted 17s was to go lower and get cheaper tires. but i feel like 18s can fill in the wheel-well so nice

^but dude, enjoy the ride while you have the stockies on. when i was rolling on them for the two weeks, OMG!!!!, they rode soooo smooth. and since they were soooo sunken into the wheel-well, i didnt rub at alllllll, so it was such a comfortable ride. hahaha

its funny how much of a difference 215/35/18 and 225/40/18 tires compare to the stock 215/45/17 setup. it rides soo much smoother

Honestly, it was a nice change, but I miss looking pretty.
It's tough being pretty.

I'm on 225/40 but on an 18x7.5, far from being stretched, tires are Continental ExtremeContact DWS and ride smooth. I don't know how well they'd stretch if I were to go with a 9.5 wide wheel(they're approved for up to a 9" width), add to that the sidewalls are soft, don't even know how they'd handle those conditions.

My Falken FK452s had a soft sidewall, and handled surprisingly well. I had and will have 225/35s on a 10" wide wheel.

16s are small for the tc (even though the specs come with 16" steelies) but I dont think those 002s come in that width/offset in the 17s. Think he pulls them off nicely for 16s. 18s do look great, but 17s with some work on the stance look the best to me. Just my opinion.

Today is bright day for tC owners. For this is hope that our cars can in fact be - baller.

I had to post this from the SN forums. I'm absolutely in love and officially want to keep my tC in hopes that it can be this awesome. Well done, kenny!!!

tCs have already been baller.
No merit taken from Kenny whatsoever, though.

I always vote for 17's. Idk why I just think they fit the tc well. 18's look great but it takes some work to get as low.

I agree with this. Although, it's not so much as being "baller" imo, it's more of appreciating quality products and supporting the companies that put it out there for us to enjoy.
