Reminds me of my Lowrider phase that I was in for a couple of years. The worst part of it is that I was in Japan at that time and was driving a bad ace Toyota Crown with V.I.P. kit......that I had painted blue with purple pearl.....and then a ton of that rainbow flake.....and then some 100 spoke knock offs I hate myself for that one sometimes LOL.
ENJOY HAHAHA......

Anyway here are some pictures of my new wheels. I only have the fronts on for now because the rear is nowhere close to fitting. Fender roll and pull next week and probably some negative camber.......

^ Also depends on what tire you had in mind. Different tires have different shoulders and stretch or don't stretch depending on the tire.

Most of the peps I kno that run this size usually use 205 and get a nice stretch but if not go with 215 those are meant to b mounted up to 8.5" inch rims so obviously won't b much of a stretch but like Trdscion stated depends on the wheel brand cause some run thicker then others and what not. Check out this link gives u pixs so that way u can get an idea of the stretches

I think i might go with 215 but not sure if i should go 215/40 or 35 but if i go 35 will it affect my speedo etc?

edit: For the tire brand im thinking of getting falkens, toyo, or federals

Recommended is 3% within standard size (not sure how the hell they calculate that) but either way you'd be fine. with a 9" et28 I might say 35 just for that extra clearance. But definitely do some research.

Falkens get a good stretch, Toyos as well but I think they're a bit wide. A co-worker had a 9.5" on a 225 or 235 and it was a mild stretch. Feds run wide that's what I have and I got a 215 when I had a 225 before knowing how they run and it's about the same. So I'd say a 205 in the federal but probably 215's for the others like a FK 452 or 912 or a T1R/Proxy.

Federals along with Toyo run wide so I would suggest going with 205/40 but if you go with falkens then 215

^ nice how you liking the miro's? I thought about getting a set of those ended up with a set of cheap drags until I get the hang of this whole fitment thing then I may also cop a set of these or get something more baller, but I like the way they look on socal, jaewrek, jeremydoc's ride, and now yours what size tires your running btw 205-40-17? anyways nice pick up looking good man....

thanx man, I really like em. They're flashy for a "fake" wheel. I actually got these from Jaewrek so same wheels different car. I was always looking for a staggered look. Figured that "most" people had problems with 18x10s with buckling, and 17x10s can give you the same height drop as maxing out 18s while raising it a little to prevent buckling. My fronts are 215/40r17 and rear are 225/35r18. I'm still learning this whole fitment thing too man so you're not alone, knowledge is power!
