So if I go from 17s to 18s and maintain the same tire size, ie 205/40 on the 17s and decide to go with the same on the 18s but for the 18" rim of course, will it elevate the car an inch higher?

For those of you on really aggressive 18" setups, such as 18x9.5 +10 or an aggressive 10" wheel... how do you keep the rear so low without scraping the lip of the wheel on the inner quarter panel? I maxed out stock camber and was scraping lip on fender. I tried to reduce camber and the tire sits on the fender. Any input is appreciated. All I can think of doing is running a 35 series tire or going full stiff. Maybe even a flare.. Anyway, here's how it's going to sit for a while until I figure it out.
